Zachary Ross Trotter

Zachary Ross Trotter, age 26 of Seymour, passed away in an automobile accident on Friday, June 21st. He was born June 27, 1992 in Seymour, Indiana to Angie and Kevin Blewett. We are certain his Papaw Trotter greeted him at the gates of heaven along with our heavenly savior Jesus Christ.
Zach, as he was so affectionately known, attended Redding Elementary as a child and played football and basketball. His football team was city champs in both his 5th and 6th grade years. Zach was a 2011 graduate of Seymour High School. He was a member of the Seymour High School baseball team. He was very proud of the fact that he caught 2 no hitters while on the team and was a participant in a triple play. He loved sports and especially the camaraderie of being a member of the team. He was the jokester, the one who could always make you laugh. He loved the boys he played ball with and remained friends with most of his teammates.
Zach was employed by Culligan of Seymour for the past 3 years. Being able to go to different businesses, the freedom of the open road, and the people were what Zach loved about his job. He was as charismatic as they come. He always had a smile and a kind word to say.
Zach loved hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. He loved a cold beer and hanging out with his friends. He also always said he loved the ladies… “All of them”.
Zach is survived by his parents Angie (Mama) and Kevin Blewett and Burnetta “Nana” Trotter. His older brother Kevin Alan who he loved to go on “bro” dates with. His Aunts: Nikki Hercamp, Tina Oliger, Krystal Nichols, and Brenda (Ray) Wade. His uncles: Mark Blewett and Jimmy Blewett. Cousins: Shannah (Ricky) Dalton, Steven Hercamp, Chloe Clark, Jeremiah Oliger, Jacob (Hialey) Oliger, Jimmy (Stacy) Walker, Justin Walker, and Samantha Bohall. And one very special cousin, Alisa Rose Trotter, who Zach referred to as “his girl”. He also leaves behind his fur babies: Fancy, Milnot, Jack, and Nala Bean.
He was preceded in death by his dad: Terry Alan Trotter (Papaw) and grandparents: Melvin Blewett and Ella Mae (Bobby) Edmonds. Fur babies: Harley boy and Hershey Love (who got him through some hard times)
Oh Zach. we will miss you so very much. No one will ever light up a room like you did. Your smile was infectious, almost perfect; hence the nickname “Smiley”. We will never forget how you took care of Papaw Trotter during his last days and how you continued to take care of Nana as she grieved. Your compassion was evident. Go rest high on that mountain sweet boy. Your work on Earth is done.
On June 27, 1992, we celebrated his birth; On June 27, 2019 we will celebrate his life. Happy Heavenly Birthday Zach! Services will be Thursday at 11:00am at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation for Zach will be held from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 and from 10:00am on Thursday until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
