Wilma D. Durbin

Wilma D. Durbin, age 76 of Bedford, passed away Saturday January 18, 2014 at IU Health in Bloomington. Born August 13, 1937 in Caneyville, KY, she was the daughter of Amos and Ettie (Elder) Mudd. On August 31, 1959 in Hardin County, Kentucky, she married S. Bernard Durbin. She retired from United Technologies in Edinburgh. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her family. Wilma is survived by her husband Bernie; six children, Paul Griffin (Rhonda) Durbin, Connie Jean (Steve) Kendall, David Lee (Debbie) Durbin, Eddie Steven (Teresa) Durbin, Barbara Irene (Joe) Hendrix, and Anthony Ray (Velvet) Durbin. She also had 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one brother, Dewitt Mudd surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. A private family visitation and service are planned with burial to follow at the Indiana Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre has been entrusted with the arrangements.
