William Thomas Bloom, age 57 of Freetown, passed away at 3:50am on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Seymour Crossing. He was born on July 25, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana. His mother was Delores(Dephue) Boone, who preceded him in death. Tom was a truck driver for years and loved photography. He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and exploring the outdoors. Survivors include his children, Scott Bloom of Seymour, Alex Bloom of Corydon, Tish (Jim) Coakley of Corydon and Sunny Bloom of Ohio. Tom had five grandchildren, Victoria, Logan and Carter Bloom and Cody and Caden Coakley. He also is survived by three brothers, Donald Dephue of Seymour, Daniel James Boone of Kentucky and Jack (Terri) Boone of Seymour; the mother of his three oldest children, Theresa Plummer of North Vernon and his lifelong friend, Robert (Mona) Taylor of Freetown. The family will have a service at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 28th at Woodlawn Freetown Funeral Chapel at 4595 W. 1st Street in Freetown. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until 3:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. Immediately following, there will be a pitch in dinner at the Skyline Drive shelter house in Brownstown.
