William Mowry Stidham

William Mowry Stidham Jr., age 88, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, Indiana. He was born on August 3, 1934 to the late William Mowry Stidham Sr., and the late Moneka (Cline) Stidham. 

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was a sharp shooting enthusiast and an amazing marksman. He enjoyed hiking, the outdoors, back packing, fishing, hunting and skiing. He had a wonderful sense of humor.  He was a graduate of the New Mexico Military Institute and also a proud member of the NRA.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Beatriz (Politeo'-Smith) Stidham of Seymour, Indiana. One son, Andy Stidham and his significant other, Mary Jo Rawlsky of Spirit Lake, Idaho, two daughters, Lisa Morgan and her husband Jeremy of Boise, Idaho and Jo Boehlke and her husband Jeff of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, David Stidham and his wife Nora of Amarillo, Texas and one sister, Cindy Reid of Amarillo, Texas.

Eight grand children, Stephen Boehlke and his wife Hannah, Jordan Morgan, Jasmine Stidham, Jonathan Boehlke and his wife Ellie,  James Morgan, Thomas Boehlke, Joseph Boehlke, and Victoria Boehlke. 

Five great grand children, Elliana, Everest, Everly, Garrison and Titus Boehlke.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alpha Shepherd.

The family has chosen cremation and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
