Waylon Alexander Jones, age 3, a bright light who filled every room with joy and laughter, passed away on September 29, 2024, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. Born on August 19, 2021, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Waylon was a cherished son and brother whose giggles and cuddles brought immense happiness to all who knew him.

From his very first days, Waylon captivated the hearts of his family with his infectious smile and playful spirit. He had an extraordinary ability to find delight in life’s simple pleasures—whether it was sharing a cuddle with loved ones, going for rides in his stroller, or watching his favorite cartoon character, Bluey. His laughter would ring through the air, illuminating even the darkest of days, reminding everyone of the beauty of life through the eyes of a child.

Waylon was not only a beloved baby but also a source of inspiration and love within his family. He is deeply missed by his father, Peyton Jones, and his mother, Carman Renae Weber, who admired his adventurous spirit and kind heart. His sibling, Nathan Weber, carries with him fond memories of play and laughter, and their bond, though brief, was a treasure that will resonate in their hearts forever.

He was the grandson of Chris Jones and Samantha Greer, who adored him and saw the promise of life in his bright eyes. As a family, they will forever cherish the moments spent with Waylon, holding him close and creating memories that will be spoken of with love and reverence.

Waylon’s legacy of joy, laughter, and love will remain embedded in the hearts of his family. Although his time here was far too short, the imprint he left on their lives is eternal. In the spirit of Waylon’s boundless happiness, his family encourages all who knew him to carry on his legacy by embracing the world as he did—with wonder, joy, and a willingness to cuddle close to those you love.

The family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
