July 21, 1966 — April 1, 2015

Tony Ray Beard, age 48 of Scottsburg and formerly of Vallonia and Crothersville, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at University of Louisville after a sudden illness. Born July 21, 1966 in Seymour, he is the son of Frank and Carol (Brumett) Beard. Tony was a 1986 graduate Crothersville High School and had been a fork lift driver at Indiana Steel in Brownstown and loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed Nascar and dirt track racing. The love of his life, was his daughter, Brittany. He leaves behind his parents, Frank and Carol of Crothersville; daughter, Brittany of Vallonia; sister, Michelle Lucas of Seymour and a nephew Aaron Lucas. A service will be on Wednesday at11:30am April 8th at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. in Seymour. Visitation will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and then on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow services at Riverview Cemetery.
