Terry W. Zollman

Terry Wayne Zollman, age 72, a native and lifelong resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on January 28, 1952 to the late Roy Otis and Patricia Rose (Tatlock) Zollman.

He was a 1970 graduate of Scottsburg High School. After graduation, he went to work at Scott Manufacturing for about four years. Terry and his father owned and operated Zollman’s Garage in Scottsburg, where he was a mechanic for over 40 years. In June of 1978, he was united in marriage to Gloria Ann (Heatley) Zollman, and they enjoyed over 46 wonderful years together. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on old cars, restoring tractors, vegetable gardening, and attending many car shows. He was a hardworking, kind, easy-going, and really good man.

His life will be cherished by his wife, Gloria Zollman of Scottsburg; his brother: Shawn Zollman of Ramsey, Indiana; his aunts: Jeanne Abbott of Scottsburg, Virginia Daniels of Scottsburg, Betty Hughes and her husband, LeRoy of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Joy Sims and her husband, Johnny of Clarksville, Indiana; his nephews: Devin Thomas and his wife, Sarah of Deputy, Indiana, and Jeremy Berry of Dallas, Texas; his nieces: Lindsey DePriest and her husband, Adam of Lexington, Indiana, Avery Thomas of Florida, and April Stutsman and her husband, Monty of Scottsburg; and his brothers-in-law: Rick Thomas of Scottsburg and Dennis Thomas and his wife, Fenny of Florida. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Patricia Zollman.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Christensen-Hoagland Funeral Home, 80 North First Street, Scottsburg. Memorial services will begin at 6:00 PM.
