Teresa "Tess" Minton age 58 a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 11, 2024, as a result of long term health complications at University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on April 28, 1966, in, Kentucky, Tess lived a life that resonated with kindness, warmth, and an unwavering love for those around her.

Tess journey took a beautiful turn in 1986 when she met her cherished husband, Danny Minton, at The Temple Apostolic Church in Newport, Kentucky. Their connection blossomed into a profound love that would last 38 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences, reflecting the deep bond they nurtured through the decades.

Tess was a proud graduate of Holmes High School in Covington, Kentucky, in 1985, and further pursued her education at Northern Kentucky University, where she earned an Associate Degree in Finance. Her dedication to her studies mirrored her commitment to helping others, as she continually sought ways to uplift those in her community.

A woman of many admirable qualities, Tess was known for her kind-hearted nature and loving spirit. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone and was generous to a fault. Those who had the privilege of knowing Tess could always count on her to share a warm smile or a comforting word. Her joy for life was evident in her enthusiasm for the outdoors; she loved camping, fishing, hunting, and cherishing the beauty of the mountains. Tess had a heart for children and young people, always extending her love and support to brighten their days.

She was a member Living Word in Aurora, Indiana where she served as the director of the church’s benevolence ministry, Tess worked tirelessly to provide food, clothing, and essential support to those in need, demonstrating her true calling and compassion for others.

Tess is survived by her beloved husband, Danny Minton of Bennington, Indiana; her mother, Erma (DePew) Sandlin of Fairfield, Ohio; and her brother, Mark Sandlin, and his wife Jackie, also of Fairfield, Ohio. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of lifetime friends who will forever cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.

Her father, Jennings Sandlin, and her brothers Robert Hall, Lonnie Hall and Delbert Sandlin and her sister Mona Sandlin have preceded her in death.

The love and light that Tess shared with the world will be celebrated during a visitation on September 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service starting at 11:30 AM at Living Word in Aurora, Indiana with Pastor Jeremy Smith officiating.  A graveside service will take place the following day, September 16, at 12:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery in Mentor, Kentucky.

As we remember Tess, let us celebrate the beautiful memories she created and the extraordinary impact she had on so many hearts. Her legacy of love will endure, inspiring those who knew her to carry forward her spirit of kindness and generosity.
