Steven W. Leslie

Steven W. Leslie, age 68 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Schneck Medical Center. Born September 23, 1947 in Seymour, he was the son of Bill and Norma (Conway) Leslie.

A lifelong resident of Seymour, Steve was retired from Cummins Engine Company. He also served in the Indiana National Guard for six years. Steve enjoyed golfing, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Debra; children, Lisa Hernandez of Columbus, Jamie (Nikki) Leslie of New Palestine, Shannon (Dustin) Nauman of St. Joseph, MO and Derek Weddle of Seymour; step-mother, Joann Leslie of Seymour; grandchildren, Bre’ana Goddard, Josh Hernandez, Jon Gregory, Logan Smoot, Devin Townsend, Emma Townsend; great-grandson, Bentley Weddle; nieces, Stacy (Rob) Elliott and Stephanie (Scott) Teipen; great nieces and nephews, Christopher Rodman, Bethany Coomer, Brody Teipen and Brailey Teipen; great great nephew, Keaton Rodman.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Weddle; grandson, Brandon Goddard; siblings, Judy Spaulding, Brad Burns and Mark Leslie.

Per Steve’s wishes, no services are planned. A private graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery with the family. The family requests that memorials be made in Steve’s memory to the Hospice of Schneck Medical Center. Friends can leave make a memorial or share a favorite memory at www.WoodlawnFamilyFuneral.com.
