Steven Baker

Steven Luther Baker, age 77, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, a day before the passing of his beloved wife Georgia Mae (Wayman) Baker. He was born on December 24, 1945 to the late Robert Baker and the late Bonnie (Eisele) Baker. He was a Christian by faith and served his Country proudly in the United States Army. He will forever be remembered as a gentle soul that was always willing to lend a hand to whoever needed him. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR the outdoors and being a great "Pappy".

He is survived by his son, Richard "Rick" Marksberry and his wife Tammy of Seymour, Indiana, one daughter. Angie Marksberry of Seymour, Indiana. Two brothers, Robert "Bob" Baker and his wife Berta of Seymour, Indiana and Terry Baker and his wife Sondra of Bedford, Indiana. One sister, Patsy Fluharty of Seymour, Indiana. Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John Baker and Rudy Baker and one sister, Roberta Stringer.

Funeral Services for Mr. and Mrs. Baker will on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating.
