Stella Faye (Combs) Anderson

Stella Faye (Combs) Anderson, age 77, a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at Hoosier Christian Village. She was born on November 16, 1946, in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Herman Combs and the late Marie (Brewer) Combs. She was a loving and caring person, always putting others ahead of herself. Her main objective and goal in life was to be of service and was passionate to do whatever she could to help. She was a homecare giver and spent time working for Visiting Angels. She loved to cook and bake and cherished spending time with the love of her life, Damon Ray Anderson. They were married for 53 years and were inseparable.

She is survived by her husband, Damon Anderson of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, Jasper Combs of Seymour, Indiana, and one sister, Vanessa Burke of Seymour, Indiana. One sister-in-law Ramona Brooks Combs (wife to the late Anthony Combs), who was also a long-time friend and became caregiver to Stella.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Two brothers, Anthony Combs and Elijah Combs.

In keeping with her wishes, the family has chosen cremation.
