Shirley Jean East

Shirley Jean (Malone) East, age 77, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Saturday April 11, 2020 at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital in Salem, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Robert Brooks and the late Mary Marie (Malone) Brooks. She was a Christian by faith. Shirley will forever be remembered as a lady that loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking with pies and cakes and chicken and dumplings being among their favorites.
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Thomas East and his wife Kiki of New York and Christopher East and his wife Tina of Ellisville, Indiana; three Daughters, Debbie Stout and her fiancé Donald Boles of Austin, Indiana. Michelle Beavers and her fiancé Gary Lee of Seymour, Indiana. Marilyn Mullins and husband Terry of Norman, Indiana; one Brother, Jeffrey Scott Brooks and his wife Angie of Reddington, Indiana; one Sister, Cindy Sue Larrison and husband Kirby of Seymour, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, One son, Brian Keith Malone and one grandson, Patrick Wayne Stout.
Due to the current restrictions a private family visitation and services will be held with Bro Brien Stout officiating.
Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery near Heltonville, Indiana.
