Robert "Wayne" Hall

Robert "Wayne" Hall. age 60, a native of Jeffersonville, Indiana and a resident of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his residence. He was born on December 1, 1962 to the late Robert Hall and Janet (Broady) Hall of Underwood, Indiana. He was a Christian by faith and a retired volunteer firefighter of over 30 years and former Fire Chief of Underwood, Indiana. Wayne will forever be remembered as an honest, loving, soft hearted man that would do anything he could to help someone that needed him. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved watching Reds and Cardinals baseball. Of all that he loved in this life, nothing compared to the love he had for his family, especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife of over forty years, Pamela Sue (Cissell) Hall of Underwood, Indiana, one son, George Hall and his wife Tiffany of Sellersburg, Indiana and one daughter, Amber Bower and her husband Jacob of Underwood, Indiana. Two grand children, Shane Bower and Sophia Hall. One brother, David Hall and his wife Tammy of Underwood, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will resume on Monday, August 21, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. He will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Underwood, Indiana.
