Robert "Nute" Dale Langdon

Robert “Nute” Dale Langdon, age 82, a native and resident of Crothersville, Indiana passed away on Friday January 8, 2021 at his residence. Robert was born on January 10,1938 to the late Estes Langdon and the late Flossie (Fleetwood) Langdon.

Known as “Nute”, he loved gardening and the outdoors. He had a passion for horses and loved riding and racing. He was a confident man and was a wonderful husband and provider for his family. He was an employee of Cummings for over 30 years.

He is survived by his one son, Tony Langdon and his wife Sue of Crothersville, Indiana and one daughter, Sheila White and her husband DeWayne of Austin, Indiana. Four grandchildren, Tyler Stallings, Julian Stallings, Brady White and Bethany Langdon. Five Great grandchildren, Maddy Stallings, Harper Stallings, Delaney Stallings, Aiden Campbell and Maceigh Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of over 64 years, Sharon Owen Langdon, one granddaughter, Hannah Langdon and one great grandson, Jayce Stallings.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with the Rev. Billy Deaton officiating. He will be laid to rest at Crothersville Cemetery.
