Robert Alfred Reynolds

Robert A. Reynolds, age 87 of Seymour, formerly of Bedford, passed away December 24, 2015 at Seymour Crossing. Born June 26, 1928 in Aurora, Indiana, he was the son of Cecil and Mary (Goodpaster) Reynolds. He was married to Nelllina Jordan 35 years ago and she survives.

A lifelong resident of Southern Indiana, Robert was attended Pentecostal Churches. Robert was a 50 year member of the Plumber and Steamfitter Union 440. He loved rabbit hunting and loved his rabbit hunting dogs. He also enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include his wife Nellina; children, Danny (Cindy) Reynolds of Seymour, Lanny Reynolds of Medora, Max Reynolds of Columbus and Diane Linne of Anderson, S.C. Robert also has a brother, Taft Smith, JR. and sisters, Carolyn, Donna and Joann; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parent; brothers, Harry and Doyle; and sister Hazel.

A funeral will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday, December 29th at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel. Memorials can be made at the funeral home to the Medora Pentecostal Church.
