Ricky Joe Derringer

Ricky Joe Derringer, age 68, a native of Scottsburg, Indiana and a resident of Little York, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at his residence. He was born on December 5, 1954 to the late Earl Truman Derringer Sr. and the late Alma (Lee) Derringer. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and rock and roll music. He was a easy going, funny, loving man that was always friendly. 

He is survived by one son, Ricky Joe Derringer Jr of Chatsworth, Georgia, one daughter Ashley Derringer of Chatsworth, Georgia and two brothers, Charles Derringer of Seymour, Indiana, Earl T. Derringer Jr. and his wife Brenda of Seymour, Indiana. Four grandchildren, Alexander DeVoursney, Joshua King, Clarise Derringer and Isabel Derringer. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Danny Derringer and Richard Derringer. Three sisters, Wilma Lee Baker, Juanita Derringer and Earline Bowen.

In keeping with his wishes the family has chosen cremation.
