Richard Doty

Richard W. “Dick” Doty, age 82 of Norman, passed away on Sunday, December 15th at the Garden Villa Nursing Home in Bedford. Born, May 29, 1931, he was the son of Walter and Margaret Lucille (Johnson) Doty. Survivors include his sister, Sondra Edwards and a brother, Hugh Doty. Dick also left behind several nieces, nephews and his beloved Pug, Yuppy. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Doty and five siblings, Dale Doty, David Doty, Bonnie Blake, Colleen Davidson and Carol Ann Tyree. As to keep with Dick’s wishes, cremation has been planned with a memorial service at a later date. The family asks that memorials be sent for the Jackson County 4-H to Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre at 612 Meadowbrook Drive, Seymour, IN 47274. Woodlawn-Freetown Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
