Rebecca Ilene Matthews

Rebecca Ilene Matthews, age 79, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. She was born on November 3, 1944, to the late Jack Matthews and the late Ruby (Hamlin) Matthews. She was a Christian by faith and was a graduate of Butter High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the owner of Tampa Bay Graphics. Rebecca was a creative soul and used her painting and drawing skills as therapy and to express her creative side. Many paintings were sold. She was free-spirited and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, flowers, gardening, and animals, especially raising Dachshund dogs.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Tim Goodman; two brothers, Grayson “Mac” Matthews, and James “Jim” Matthews.

She is survived by one son, Michael Goodman and wife Paula of Cincinnati, Ohio; two daughters, Rebecca Goodman of Kentucky, and Vanesa Bell and husband Kevin of Seymour, Indiana; six grandchildren, Adrienne Taylor, Nick Billman, Brad Billman, Kirsten Wood, McKenzie Worthington, and Jake Billman.
