Randy Cummings

Randal “Randy” Cummings, age 68, a native of Jackson County, Indiana and a resident of Medora, Indiana, passed from this life on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on May 11, 1952 to the late Gene Cummings and the late Margie Gilbert Cummings. Randy was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. He loved camping, fishing, and riding his Indian motorcycle. He loved taking getaways and vacations to Florida. Among the many things in life, noting compared to the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Alice (Callis) Cummings of Medora, Indiana, one son, Brian Lehnert of Madison, Indiana, two daughters, Brenda Weidner and her husband Danny of Louisville, KY and Amanda Linville of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, Phil Cummings and his wife Katrina of Medora, Indiana and one sister, Tracey Camp and her husband Troy of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin.
Five Grandchildren, Derek Weidner and his wife Krystal, Kaylynn Linville, Keira Linville, Deven Cummings and Lannah Cummings. Two Great grandchildren, Tyson Riggs and Savannah Weidner. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Elverna Cummings of Seymour, Indiana, Numerous nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Cole Cummings and one brother, Steve Cummings.
Per his wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
