Polly Cole

Polly (Napier) Cole, age 83, a native of Leslie County, Kentucky and a resident of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on January 18, 1939 to the late Troy Napier and the late Dora (Napier) Napier. She was a Christian by faith. Polly will forever be remembered as a feisty, witty, loving but stern lady. She was an excellent florist and flower arranger. She loved shopping, flea markets, yard sales, watching golf and most of all being with her family. She was an excellent cook and the family will forever treasure the memories of her cauliflower salad, deviled eggs and potato salad. 

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Sue Cole of Austin, Indiana and one brother, Roger Napier and his wife Debbie of Scottsburg, Indiana. Two grandchildren, Jessica Rollins and her husband Travis and Justin Cole-Fox and his wife Jenna. Six great grandchildren, Atreyu Yeakle, Lexie Cole-Fox, Izzak Cole-Fox, Bridon O'Brien, Jaxtin Cole-Fox and Charli Rollins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Carlos Napier and Charles Napier, one sister, Janet Fugate. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 15th 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Steve Gwaltney officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.

Funeral services will be live streamed to the funeral home facebook page for those that are unable to attend in person. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the care of the funeral home in her honor.
