Phyllis Ann George

Phyllis A. George, age 75 of Columbus, died at 3:35pm on Thursday, April 25th at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. Born July 13, 1937 in Anderson, Indiana, she was the daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Terry) Lewis. In her spare time, Phyllis loved to fish. Survivors include 8 children, Gerald Arnold of Pendleton, Patricia Arnold of Columbus, Cecil (JoAnn) Arnold of Milan, Ronnie Arnold of Georgia, Debbie Arnold of Columbus, Belinda Arnold of Tennessee, Paul (Amanda) Arnold of Seymour and Jenny Arnold of McCordsville. Also surviving are 3 brothers, Joe (Patty) Lewis and Jim (Judy) Lewis both of Florida and Butch Lewis of North Vernon; also 1 sister Carol Porter of Florida. Phyllis also had 26 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, April 29th at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 605 S. Walnut Street in Seymour. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time at the church. Burial will follow services at Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made care of the funeral home to offset expenses. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre is handling the arrangements.
