Phyllis Ann Bridgewater

Phyllis Ann Miner Bridgewater, 83, of Scottsburg IN, passed away peacefully Monday,

September 11 2023, at her home, with her family by her side. Phyllis was born June 17 1940, in Scottsburg IN to the late Merville Miner and Alice Arbuckle Miner. Phyllis was united in marriage to Jack L Bridgewater on February 27 1959 and the union gave them a daughter, Kimela of Scottsburg and a son Kristopher, and his fiancé Vannessa also of Scottsburg. Additional survivors include a sister, Betty Sue Dart as well as several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis will be remembered for her seamstress skills and crafting. Being such a good cook, she enjoyed meals with her close friends and family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scottsburg and the Red Hat Society. She spent her years beside her husband helping in any way usually behind the scenes at their business, Jack Bridgewater Real Estate, which is still in business for over 50 years.

The family has chosen cremation with services to be held at a later date.
