Phillip Leon Allman

Phillip Leon “Red” Allman, 72 of Seymour IN, passed away Friday, September 1 2023 at Majestic Care in North Vernon IN. Phillip was born April 19 1951 in Seymour IN to Otho Allman and Charlotte Stigdon Allman. He was previously employed in retail. He loved going to auctions and resales, sitting in his car and watching people, he loved his dog Pax, but above all he loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Phillip had a sweet personality, he liked joking around and talking to people. His kindness and lovable personality will be truly missed by his family and friends. Phillip was proud to be a veteran of the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Mary Root Allman; his son Jamey Allman of Winchester KY; his daughter Kelly Allman of Seymour IN; his grandchildren Destiny, Kaleb, Skyler, Ava & Aiden; and his brothers Jerry Allman of Westport IN and Troy Allman of Seymour IN. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
