Paul G. Bevers

Paul G. Bevers, age 71 of Seymour, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. Born July 23, 1944 in Seymour, he was the son of Charles and Mary A. (George) Bevers. On December 2, 1972 in Seymour, he married Linda McKinney. Paul proudly served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was an electronics technician and retired from Cummins Engine Company May 1, 2015 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church. Survivors include his wife of almost 43 years, Linda; children, Angela Bevers-Mills, Heather (Neal) Bevers-Keaton and Scott Logan Bevers all of Seymour; grandchildren, Garrett Mills, Addison Keaton, Camillya Keaton, Liz Keaton and Brian Mills; siblings, Carl (Anne) Bevers of Vernon Hills, IL, Richard (Bev) Bevers of Bedford and Bette (Donald) Littell of North Vernon. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Sebastian Keaton; brother, Morris “Bud” Bevers and his wife Bettie; and sister, Wilma Bevers. Pastor Alisha Roberts will conduct a celebration of Paul’s life at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 11:00am on Monday, July 27, 2015. Friends may call from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
