Patty Sue (Spray) Buster

Patty Sue (Spray) Buster, age 82, a native of Seymour, Indiana and a resident of Brownstown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2023 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. She was born on April 10, 1940 to the late William Spray and the late Anita (Voss) Spray. 

She was a Christian by faith and graduated from Seymour High School in 1958. Patty will forever be remembered as a funny, generous, sweet, intelligent lady that loved her family dearly. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and was an amazing seamstress. She also enjoyed gardening, and farming alongside her husband for over 30 years. She was a wonderful cook and the family will forever treasure the memories of her lasagna, cavaini and homemade fruitcake. She loved traveling with her husband in their motorhome visiting 48 of the 50 states.

She is survived by her one son, Tom Buster of Summerton, South Carolina and three daughters, Tenley Foster and her husband CJ of Brownstown, Indiana, Traci O'Connor and her husband Shaun of Edwards, Colorado and Tia Horton of Brownstown, Indiana. Two brothers, Ronald Spray and his wife Ruthie of Bloomington, Indiana and Steve Spray and his wife Michelle of Columbus, Indiana. One sister, Catherine Montgomery of Seymour, Indiana. 

Four grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Natasha Horton, Kacie Horton and Dereck Foster. Six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 59 years, Garnet Buster, one brother, Marshall Spray and one sister, Barbara Childers.

The family has chosen cremation and private family services were held at the funeral home.
