Norman E. McClintic, age 82 of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, May 13th at the Seymour Crossing. Born August 18, 1931 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Roy and Rose (Bruner) McClintic. Norman was a lover of all kinds of animals and especially like stray cats and dogs. He also love to spend time with family and friends. Survivors include daughters, Vicki Wayt of Spraytown, Diane (David) Miller of Walterboro, S.C., Paula (Kenneth) Richardson of Ravenel, S.C.; Norman also had 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandkids. He also is survived by a brother, Richard McClintic of Columbus. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, a son Norman McClintic; a daughter Deborah Phillips; a great-granddaughter Kaylee Perry; three brothers, Floyd McClintic, Lloyd McClintic and Ray Settles; and one sister, Ruby McClintic. The family wants to invite everyone to a meal at the Spraytown Free Methodist Church at 2:30pm on Sunday, May 18, 2014. A visitation will be from 4:30pm until 6:30pm on Sunday, May 18th at the Woodlawn-Freetown Funeral Chapel at 4595 W. 1st Street. A funeral service will be at 6:30pm. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Jackson County Humane Society.
