Norma Lee (Mcadams) Stewart

Norma Lee (McAdams) Stewart, age 84, a native and resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at U of L Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on May 4, 1938 to the late Lee McAdams and the late Myrtle (Wetzel) McAdams. Norma will forever be remembered as a hard worker. Some of her many jobs include being a teacher at the de Paul School in Louisville, a substitute teacher at Scottsburg Middle School and owner of Campbell's motel and Tony and Pauley's restaurant/lounge in Scottsburg, Indiana. She also managed the Home Oven Restaurant in Austin and was the owner/operator of Trails End Jewelry which sold Native American jewelry.
Norma enjoyed planting and working in her garden, cooking and canning her own produce. Another activity that Norma enjoyed was camping and riding her horse, "Skipper Dammit". Besides her horses, Norma loved her dogs, Buddy, Jackson and Jake and a number of cats as well.
She is survived by one daughter, Tracey Montgomery and her husband Lyndall of Scottsburg, Indiana, one son, Todd Stewart and his wife Sharon of Scottsburg, Indiana. One brother, Bob McAdams of Scottsburg, Indiana one granddaughter, Holly Stewart and her fiancé, Donald Pennington of Scottsburg, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Erin Stewart.
In keeping with her wishes, the family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, 2pm, on the hillside of Holly Hill Farm located at 1373 West Leota Rd, Scottsburg, Indiana.
