Our beloved Nickolas Jaymes Curry, age 34, passed away on July 21, 2022 in Oklahoma. He is
survived by Robin Curry (Father), Whitney Curry (Step-Mother), and Lori Burton Cosby
(Mother), Jonathan David Huntington, Jacob Daniel Huntington, and McKenna Curry (Siblings),
as well as loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by James and Ruby
Curry (Paternal Grandparents) and Loren Burton Jr. and Diana Kelsay (Maternal Grandparents).
He was born on October 23, 1987 in Franklin, IN, and grew up in Seymour, IN where he
attended Seymour High School. Nick was a talented musician and songwriter. His hobbies
included traveling back and forth across America, playing music, camping, reading, writing, and
learning history. He loved his family and friends, of which he had many.
Everyone who met Nick was in awe of his charm and manners. He had many, many friends all
across America who have spoken or written of their memories with Nick, of which include
jumping trains to California, playing music on the boardwalks of beaches, and hiking mountains
out West. Nick loved people and memories above money and material things, and this has been
prevalent in every story and memory shared with the family.
Nick was a very giving, generous individual. One of his last acts of kindness was giving his
guitar and money to a church, called Northside Assembly of God, in Oklahoma. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to go to Northside Assembly of God, 3602 N
George Nigh Expy, McAlester, Oklahoma 74501 in Nick’s memory.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday, August 20, at
Christensen Family Funeral Home in Seymour, IN with the celebration of life service beginning
at 2pm.
Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at

May all of us honor our beloved Nick in living life how he did: cherishing relationships and
memories, traveling around our beautiful country, and treasuring each moment, everyday.
“Friends I hope you listen well, and know the difference between Heaven and Hell. You don’t
have to walk that line so straight, and who’s to say you have to congregate. Just believe in your
heart, help your fellow man when times are hard. He will be watching down from above, to give you your just reward".
