Nancy Lee Langrel, 77, of Reddington, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on December 22, 2024. She was surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 23, 1947, in Gates City, Virginia, Nancy was the daughter of Nell and Harry Radford Gray. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud meme, sister, and friend.

Nancy dedicated many years to raising her four children before beginning her career in healthcare, where she continued to care for others until her retirement. Her nurturing spirit and caring nature left an impact on all who knew her.

One of Nancy’s greatest joys was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She cherished planning themed weekend dinner parties and game-filled gatherings, creating cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Jerry, and Bobby Gray, and her sister, Charolette Smith. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Langrel Sr.; her sisters, Jane Nickels and Martha McBride; her daughters, Rebecca Langreland Angela Langrel (and her son Joshua); her son, Robert Langrel Jr. (and his children Christian and Raegan); and her daughter, Cynthia Langrel (and her son Austin).

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held this summer in her hometown of Gates City, Virginia. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Nancy to join in remembering her spirit and the joy she brought to everyone she met.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Nancy’s honor.
