Michele "Poet" Roark

Michele “Poet” Roark, age 33, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at her residence. She was born on August 11, 1990, to Darius Roark and Trina (Ruddick) Roark of Seymour, Indiana. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a 2009 graduate of Orleans High School of Orleans, Indiana. Michele was very artistic and enjoyed singing and dancing in the sunshine, gardening, writing poetry, beekeeping, and spending time in nature. She was free-spirited, daring, fierce, and passionate about whatever she put her mind to. She loved to travel and made friends wherever she went.

She is survived by her parents; paternal grandfather Darius H. Roark of Seymour, Indiana; two brothers, Joseph Ruddick, and wife Alexis of Comiskey, Indiana, and Darius Michael Roark of Hanover, Indiana; one sister, Darian collier and husband Brad, of Seymour, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
