Michael L. Daugherty

Michael L. Daugherty, age 54 of Columbus, passed on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Born March 12, 1960 in Columbus, he was the son of John and Frances (Fultz) Daugherty. A mechanic by trade, Mike enjoyed fishing, working on cars and watching drag and stock car racing. Surviving Mike is his mother, Frances; daughters, Erica (Kyle) Sommers, Ashley (Tony) Mellencamp, Jamie (Brent) King and Michelle (Chris) Hickman; also surviving Mike is a sister, Sharon Rhoades and 7 grandchildren, a niece and nephew. Mike was preceded in death by his father and a son, Brian Daugherty. A graveside service will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus on Wednesday, May 28th at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michael Daugherty Memorial Fund care of the funeral home. Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre, 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. in Seymour is handling arrangements.
