Mary L Harris

Mary L. Harris, age 56 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Schneck Medical Center. Born January 12, 1961 in Seymour, she was the daughter of Edward and Ruby Mize. On November 1, 1985 in Easyville, Mary married Alonzo A. Harris.
She was a member of the Easyville Church of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking and fishing. Mary loved life and loved going to church and spending time with her kids and husband.
Survivors include her husband, Alonzo Harris; son, Thomas E. Harris of Lafayette; daughter, Sarah A. Harris of Columbus; sisters, Donna Mize and Mary Margaret Mize both of Seymour and Linda Mize of Kalamazoo, MI. Mary also had several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jerry Wayne Mize; a sister, Judy Mize Gay.
Services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Easyville Church of Christ conducted by Rev. Jean Pogue. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery.
