Marilyn J. Abbott

Marilyn J. Abbott, age 77 of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1936 in Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bennie E. Abbott on November 3, 2013. Mrs. Abbott worked in dry-cleaning and restaurants and later was owner and operator of Curley’s Café in Madison. She was a member of the Community Fellowship Church. Survivors include a son, Michael Abbott of Madison; a step-daughter, Patty Zahmn of Indianapolis, IN; six step-sons, Bennie Wayne Abbott, Bobby Gene Abbott and Joey Abbott all of Milton, KY, Bob Forry and Danny Forry both of California and Billy Forry of Texas; one brother, Mike and several grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date with interment in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Marilyn J.
