Marie (Brewer) Combs

April 12, 1926 — July 14, 2021

Marie (Brewer) Combs, age 95, a native of Hazard, Kentucky and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed from this life to glory on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at her residence in Seymour, Indiana. She was daughter of the late Levi Brewer and the late Priscilla (Ashley) Brewer. She was an Apostolic by faith.
Marie will forever be remembered as a loving, giving and feisty lady that loved life and her family. She loved baby sitting and caring for children. At one time she was “Uniontown’s babysitter”. Everyone that knew Marie, loved her dearly and she will be sadly missed by each life that she touched in her own special way.
She is survived by her son, Jasper Combs of Crothersville, Indiana. Two daughters, Stella Faye Anderson and her husband Damon of Seymour, Indiana, Venessa Lynn Burke and her husband Kevin of Seymour, Indiana and one daughter-in-law who loved her as her own mother, Addie “Monnie” Combs Brooks of Seymour, Indiana. Twelve grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and I great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of over 58 years, Herman Combs, three sons, Anthony Combs, Elijah Combs and Billy Ray Combs. Nine brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Uniontown Cemetery with Pastor Russell Raney officiating.
