Lovella (Reichenbacker) Tudor

October 11, 1952 — August 21, 2024

Seymour

Lovella (Reichenbacker) Tudor, a woman of remarkable spirit and resilience, was born on October 11, 1952, in Seymour, Indiana. She passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, at The Belmont in Columbus, Indiana, leaving behind a legacy of love and devoted care that touched the lives of many.

A proud graduate of Seymour High School in 1971, Lovella's thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a Degree in Nursing at The University of Indianapolis. Her commitment to this noble profession was evident throughout her esteemed career, where she found her calling and made a profound impact on her patients and community. Lovella was not just a nurse; she was a caregiver who exemplified the true meaning of compassion.

Lovella was a member of St. John's Saures Lutheran Church. Her strong-willed and opinionated nature, paired with her bubbly and caring personality, made her a beacon of light for those around her. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her will remember her infectious happiness and zest for life.

An avid traveler, Lovella enjoyed exploring new cultures and places, creating wonderful memories during her trips to Australia and Guam. Her adventurous spirit complemented her love for exotic animals and spicy cooking, which she approached with a genuine passion. She also delighted in shopping and spent many lively afternoons enjoying game shows, particularly relishing the challenge they presented.

Lovella's family, the pride and joy of her life, included her two beloved sons, Brandon and Blake Schepman, both of Seymour, Indiana. She was a doting grandmother to Jayleigh Schepman, who brought immense joy to her heart. Lovella shared a close bond with her sister, Velma Lundy, of Mooresville, North Carolina.

Though she experienced the heartache of loss, with her father John Reichenbacker, mother Marie (Callahan) Browning, and several siblings— brothers Gene Reichenba, Harold Reichenba, Bill Reichenba, Don Reichenbacker, and sisters Patricia Henley and Mary Margaret Reichenbacker having preceded her in death, Lovella's legacy is one of unwavering love and strength that will resonate through the stories shared by her family.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lovella's life and legacy at the Christensen Family Funeral Home - Seymour Chapel, located at 311 Holiday Square Road, Seymour, Indiana, with visitation on September 3, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Pastor Craig Muhlbach will officiate.

The family requests memorials be directed to Hospice of South Central Indiana, Schneck Hospice or donors choice towards a nursing charity.

As we remember Lovella, we hold dear the warmth she brought to our lives, the joy she found in the little things, and the profound impact she made as a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.
