Lori Lea Lucas

Lori Lea Lucas, 53 of Norman passed away unexpectedly July 18, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center. Born March 4, 1966 in Bedford, Indiana she was the daughter of Ray Lawrence and Helen Jean (Wray) Lucas.
Lori was a 1984 graduate from Brownstown Central High School where she was involved in Volleyball for many years. She then attended a year at Ball State University and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Lori attended Liberty Christian Church with her family. She loved animals especially her cats. She enjoyed watching the wildlife in the country and doing genealogy. Lori had a good heart and would help anyone. She loved spending time with her friends, family and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her siblings, Rhea Dawn (Paul) Nance, Daryl Lucas, Carol (Leonard) Elkins, Wanda (Tommy) Gray and Keith Lucas; her close friend Jane “Janie” Collins and several nieces and nephews.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother Michael Lucas; her sister in law Margaret Lucas and a niece Melissa Dawn Elkins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, July 27th at the Liberty Christian Church. Visitation will be after 12:00PM at the church until the time of service. Woodlawn Life Celebration were entrusted at with cremation services.
