Lois E Morrison

Lois E. Morrison, age 74 of North Vernon and formerly of Barberton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her home. Born on September 3, 1942 in Barberton, OH, she was the daughter of Laura L. (Miller) Tilson. On September 24, 1961, she married Wesley D. Morrison who preceded her in death on February 21, 2006.

Lois was a member of the Moose Lodge in North Vernon. She was also an avid bingo player, especially at the Coffee Creek Conservation Club. She was also a fan of the Oakland Raiders and Nascar. She enjoyed playing golf, going to the casino, collecting wolves, angels and piggy banks. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children, Tracy (James) Trotter of Scipio, Lisa (Barry) Wihebrink of Anderson and Wesley D. (Kelly) Morrison Jr. of VanWert, Ohio; siblings, Jon (Sandy) Tilson, Norman (Joslin) Kendall, Karen (Gary) Smith and Tim Tilson; Lois also had 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Lois was preceded in death by her mother.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre at 311 Holiday Sq. Rd. in Seymour. In lieu of flowers, Lois requested that memorials be made to the Don & Dana Myers Cancer Center or to Schneck Hospice in her and/or Wesley’s memory.
