Linda Oathout

Linda Darlene Pettay Oathout, age 79, a native of Windfall, Indiana and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Hoosier Christian Village in Seymour, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Pettay and the late Genevieve Hodson Collins.

Linda was a very independent lady that loved to laugh. She overcame many obstacles in her life and lived life to the best of her ability. She loved to visit friends and family, gardening and needlework.

Linda is survived by Three daughters, Rhonda Burke of Madison, Indiana, Rhea Sizemore of Madison, Indiana and Romona Burke of Land O Lakes, Florida. One Brother, Tex Ridlen and his wife Barbara of Phoenix, Arizona. One sister, Sharon Fleetwood and her husband Darryl of Acme, Indiana. Two grandchildren, Linda Downer and her husband Darryl of Brandon, Florida and Corey Burke and his wife Crystal of Valrico, Florida. Six great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William Keith Pettay and one sister, Ellen Richards.
A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn at 1:00PM Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Graveside services will take place at Acme Cemetery on a later date.
Due to COVID restrictions, capacity of services are limited to 25 people. Services will be live streamed on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00pm on the Facebook page of Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre for those who cannot attend.
