Linda Lou (Ferguson) Horton

December 17, 1950 — February 7, 2023

Linda Lou (Ferguson) Horton, age 72, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1950 to the late James "Jake" Ferguson and the late Blanche Ora (Hutchings) Ferguson. She was a Pentecostal by Faith.

Linda was a social butterfly. She loved people and loved her over 29 years working for Wal-Mart. She enjoyed music, especially Conway Twitty and the Gaither Vocal Band. She loved "bling bling" jewelry, the outdoors and going for drives and the forestry. Of all the things in life that she loved, nothing compared to the love she had for her family, especially her nieces and nephews who affectionately called her "DaDa". She was most happy about recently recommitting her Life to Jesus.

Linda is survived by her two step sons, Jon Horton of Lexington, Indiana and Tim Horton and his wife Catherine of Seymour, Indiana. One brother, William "Bill" Ferguson and his wife Pat of Seymour, Indiana and one sister, Charlene Roberts of Brownstown, Indiana. Numerous nieces and nephews that she loved as her very own kids. She is also survived by her special friend of over 50 years, Cindy Wagoner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger Horton, one brother, Jim Ferguson and four sisters, Jean GIbby, Janey McKinney, Donna Wilson and Marlene Charles.

The family has chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
