Linda Faye (Eakins) Combs

Linda Faye (Eakins) Combs, age 68, a native of Louisville, KY and a resident of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her residence. She was born on August 29, 1953 to the late Claude Elmer Eakins and the late Evelyn Erie (Burnett) Eakins. She was a Christian by faith. Linda will forever be remembered as an outspoken, kind hearted lady that loved life and her family. She was "Mother Hen" to her family always doing her best for them. She enjoyed BINGO, puzzles and reading books.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her and each life that she touched in her own special way.
She is survived by her daughter, Tia Williams and her finace Richard Rosalez of Scottsburg, Indian and one son, Ronald (Rocky) Baird Jr. and his wife Jamie of Scottsburg, Indiana. One brother Jimmy Eakins of Louisville, Kentucky.
Seven grandchildren, Dorothy Baird, Ronald Baird III, David Payton, Josh Payton, Nikki Mahoney, Caleb Fairbrother and Savannah Baird. Three great grandchildren, Donavan Snelling, Malachi Nicholson and David Brown.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Christensen - Hoagland Family Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jim Hudson officiating.
