Linda Buxton Adams

Linda Buxton Adams, age 82, returned to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November ,7 2022.

Linda was a native of Deputy, Indiana. She was born on November 10, 1939 to Roy Bicknell and Amy Lakes. She graduated Deputy High School on May 22, 1959. She married the late Ronald Eugene Buxton on August 21 1962, they were married for 23 years until his death in 1986. Linda remarried on June 22 1996, to the late Rev. John Adams. During her life Linda was a wonderful mother, a loving wife, and a wonderful friend. Linda was a blessing to all who knew and lover her. Linda blessed the lives of the many children through her ministry as a child caregiver.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father Roy Bicknell and Amy Lakes, her brother Esmer Bicknell and Sister's Helen Tetley and Lillian Burns. She is also preceded in death by first husband Ronald Eugene Buxton and second husband Rev. John Adams.

Surviving her are children Mark Anthony Buxton, Mary Ann Shepherd (Jeff), Nancy Lee Vance and son Daniel Eugene Buxton (Holly), also her grandchildren Ashley Nicole Jones, Jamie Allen Eugene Buxton (Isabelle), Jacob Wayne Vance, Joel Michael Vance and Alyson Lea Vance and her great grandchildren Violet Ann Lynn Jones and Gabriel Allen Buxton and Hazel Ruthann Grace Buxton.

Linda also has four Stepchildren Debbie May (Merle), Delores Dodson, Donna Scott (Hubert) and John David Adams (Tawnia) and they have many children and grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 12 2022, 1pm, at Christensen-Hoagland Family Funeral Home in Scottsburg IN with Visitation 11am to 1pm at the funeral home and burial  will be in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana.
