Larry Baurle

Lawrence F. “Larry” Baurle, age 70 of Seymour, passed away at 10:20pm on Monday, June 15th at his residence. Born June 30, 1944 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Ralph W. and Hazel Ada (Russell) Baurle. On February 12, 1966 at Central Christian Church in Seymour, Larry married Mary E. Halbert. Larry was retired from Seymour Manufacturing after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Central Christian Church in Seymour as well as the Southern Indiana Tractor Pull Association. He enjoyed trains and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary; son Larry Baurle of Hayden; daughters, Elaine (Phillip) Clark of Hayden and Lisa Baurle of Seymour; Grandchildren, Lindsey Clark of Seymour, Mathew Clark of Hayden, Allison Clark of Hayden, Molly Baurle of Seymour, Marcus Baurle of Seymour, Maci Baurle of Seymour; great-grandchildren, Aaron Sanders, Mason Sanders, Jason Clark as well as several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers; John Baurle, David Baurle and Billy Baurle. Pastor Lewis Wright will conduct a celebration of Larry’s life at 6:00pm Thursday, June 18th at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour with a reception to follow. Friends can visit from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Hospice of Schneck Medical Center or to the Don & Dana Myers Cancer Society.
