Larkin Mills Jr.

Larkin Mills Jr., a native of Barbourville, KY and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on February 24, 1977 to the late Larkin Dexter Mills Sr. and Charlene (Smith) Rodas of Seymour, Indiana. He was a Christian by faith and was the Assistant Manager of the Rally's restaurant in Seymour.  

He loved art, drawing, animation, fishing and sports, especially football and basketball. Above all that he loved nothing compared to the love that he had for his daughters. He will forever be remembered as a funny, goofy, silly man that loved to joke around and always gave his trademark bunny ears when taking pictures. 

He is survived by his mother, two daughters, Keali Rae June Mills, of Seymour, Indiana and Lauren Maycee Sarver of Seymour, Indiana. Three sisters, Malina Wiese and her husband Charles of Seymour, Indiana, Rosemary Lynn Broughton and her husband Rambo of Corbin, KY and Francis Johns and her husband Scott Jackson of Seymour Indiana. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the mother of his youngest daughter, Misti Johnson of Seymour, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Melissa Mills.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM. at Christensen Family Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Hayden Cemetery. For those that are unable to attend, funeral services will be live streamed to the Christensen Family Funeral Facebook page.
