Lacey Ann Payne

Lacey Ann Payne, 32, of Austin Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 7 2023. Lacey was born May 21 1991 in Jeffersonville IN to Charles Daniel Payne, Sr. and Troyann Druin Payne. Lacey was a member of Vienna Baptist church in Scottsburg. She was very athletic, with a very outgoing personality, loving people, very social, very friendly, witty, never met a stranger, “life of the party”. She loved cheerleading, music, dancing, singing, fashion and was meticulous about her appearance. Lacey will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Her survivors are her father Charles D Payne, Sr. of Austin; her mother Troyann Payne of New Albany; her daughter Anissah Renee Payne of Austin; her brothers Billy Payne of Colorado and Noel Payne of California; and her sister Sable Eldridge (husband Derek) of Austin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and friends. Lacey was preceded in death by her brother Charles Daniel Payne Jr.

Pastor Jeff Mullins will officiate a Remembrance Service at 1pm, Saturday, November 18 2023 at Redemption Pentecostal Church of God, 90 N High St., Austin IN 47102. A dinner will follow the service so family and friends can share fellowship together.
