Kimberly Dawn Tyree-Johnson

Kimberly Dawn Tyree-Johnson, age 44 of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, January 25th at her home. Born February 19, 1972 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Richard Dean Tyree and Patricia (Gerbig) Tyree.

Kim was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Indianapolis. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and singing. She especially loved to write poetry and spend time with her grandkids. She will be remembered as someone who acted as a caregiver for others.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Tyree of Seymour; father, Rick (Janet) Tyree of Norwich, CT; daughters, Kayla Tyree of Seymour, Tamisha Tryee-Jones of Madison, Serenity Johnson of Austin and Kymber Johnson of Sellersburg; siblings, Tammy Tyree-Wilson and Shannon Tyree of Indianapolis and Jason Tyree of Austin; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Tyree, Garret Tyree, Aubrey Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Konner Johnson and Braxton Johnson. Kim also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Steve Barrett will conduct memorial services at 7:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre. Visitation will be on Monday from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
