Kenneth Gaylord Hosli, Sr. age 70 of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2017 in Louisville. Born on December 24, 1946 in Okaloosa County, Florida he was the son of June Hosli. On July 19, 1968 in Columbus, Indiana, he married Gloria Jean “Glo” Baker.
Kenneth served in the US Army after school. He retired from Cummins Engine Company where he worked for over 32 years as a machinist. Kenneth attended Community Church Brownstown. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, traveling and watching hummingbirds. Kenneth also loved going to Gatlinburg, riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his daughters, Kimberley Sue (Terry) Fordice of Brownstown and Katherine Lynn (Brian) Kieser of Seymour; sister, Nancy Walsh; grandchildren, Brandon (Makala) Lange, Logan (April Rivera) Fordice, Heather Lange and Amber (Chris) Everhart, Kyle Kieser and Shelby Kieser, Cheyenne Botos and Brian Gambrell; great-grandchildren, Kaia Easterday and Ella & Hanna Everhart; friend Sharon Crowe; sister-in-law Janet Baker; Aunt Maxine Casura.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gloria; and son, Kenneth Gaylord Hosli, Jr.
Rev. Andy Currao will conduct services at 7:00pm on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made at the funeral home to the Community Church, Brownstown.
