June Varlene East

June Varlene (Richards) East, age 62, a native of Lexington, KY and a resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed from this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Floyd Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on February 21, 1958 to Roy Richards and Helen Ruth (Vivion) Richards.
June was a Pentecostal by faith and a home healthcare giver. She enjoyed antiquing, car shows and loved her puppies, Diamond and Levi. She was a selfless lady that had a heart of gold and would do whatever she could to help anyone that needed her. She was a strong supporter of her family. June loved her children and loved her step children as her very own. June loved her husband Glenn dearly who was the love of her life and her partner in everything she did.
June is survived by her parents, her husband of 17 years, Glenn East of Seymour, Indiana, two sons, Mecco Mai of Bloomington, Indiana and Joshua East and his wife Natalie of Cookeville, Tennessee. Two daughters, Mindy Mai of Columbus, Indiana and Sydney East and her fiancé Daniel Lewellen of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. Her Father and Mother In Law, Bobby and Carol East of Summerfield, Florida and her Brother In Law, Bobby East of Columbus, Indiana. Two grandchildren, Owen East and Liam East.
She was preceded in death by her Daughter In Law, Melissa Mai.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 2:00PM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre with Rev. Mike Tolliver officiating. She will be laid to rest at Whites Chapel Cemetery.
