Joseph Raymond Harrison

Joseph Raymond Harrison, 82 of Brownstown, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born on January 1, 1938, the son of the late Raymond R. Harrison and Flossie (Phelps) Harrison. Joseph married Lavern (Waggoner) Harrison, and she preceded him in death in 1990. Joseph attended the Freetown Church of Christ. He was a machinist for Best Way Lock. He is survived by his nephews, Dennis (Sharon) Taylor, Bernie Fox and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brother, James Harrison and sister, Lois Fox. Services will be conducted on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at 10 am at Freetown Church of Christ, Freetown, Indiana, with burial to follow at Gorbett's Chapel Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the church on Saturday from 9 am until the time of the service. We welcome friends to pay respects while continuing to follow social distancing guidelines. Face coverings in public are required. We encourage you to share your support with the family being cognizant that others wish to do the same. In keeping with Governor Holcomb’s order, we must limit those in attendance to 25 people.
