Johnnie Dale Buffington

Johnnie Dale Buffington Sr. age 72 of Seymour, passed away at 4:07 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, at Seymour Crossing. Born on October 30, 1939 in Jasonville, he was the only son of the late Mearl Chester and Mary Leturgez Buffington. He proudly served in the Army from 1957 to 1963. He enjoyed the outdoors and collecting coins. Survivors include his sons Rohn Alan (Robin), Seymour, Johnnie Dale Jr. (Dawn) Hardinsburg, Mark Allen, Seymour, grand children Kristofer, Steven(Ellen), Justin, Priscilla, of Seymour, Jasmin, Dakota, Rozlynn of Hardinsburg. One great grandson Kaiden. He selflessly donated his body to University of Louisville Science. Memorial services will be 1:30pm on Friday, January 13th at the Seymour First Nazarene at 311 Myers Street with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating.
