John Wade Adams Jr

John Wade Adams, Jr, age 52 of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born October 26, 1962 in Seymour, he was the son of John Wade Adams, Sr. and Mary Alice (Overshiner) Adams. On October 4, 2012 in Seymour, he married Amanda Kay Burchfield, who survives. He served in the U.S. Army after high school and enjoyed watching westerns, reading western books, playing video games with his kids and playing with son Johnny. Survivors include his wife Amanda of Seymour; children, Nick (Emilee) Adams of Nashville, IN, Josh (Heather) Adams of Lexington, KY, Cody Adams of Columbus, Shiloh Adams, John Wade Adams III, Brendan Nantz, Delorice Nantz and Alexis Nantz all of Seymour; brother, Jacob “Obby” (Kyra) Adams of Seymour; grandchildren, Lane, Rileigh, Emily, Brianna and Julius Adams. John was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Milburn Billy Adams; and sister, Sarah Beth Adams. A funeral will be held at 1:00pm Thursday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
